Well, the new website(www.jonkirby.com)  has launched and finally began shooting for the season.  Bunkered up in Calgary for a week braving -25 degree weather for a good 4 days of shooting.  Got some ok shots, mostly dusting off my skills.  Can't wait to get out again!

Well I noticed I've been slacking in the department compared to my fellow photography compadres.

Not too much is new, been enjoying the semi nice weather as of late, and  have taken some time to read some books that I've owned for quite some time yet haven't gotten around to reading.  Finally found some summer employment, not too thrilled about the thought of working for someone again but hey, this winter was awesome and I want to do it all over again, so time to get at it!

Well here we go, first blog.  I think I live a somewhat interesting life that maybe someone out there would be interested in.  I'm not sure if I'll update often, I'll try to but make no promises or money back guarantee.  The last week or so has been busy with good sun and good snow.  Spent most of the days shooting with Tadashi Fuse and Heart Films (www.heartfilms.com)  aside from a couple communication problems things went great.  Got some shots I was pretty stoked on
